Website lead database

Recycling Quotes is a B2B recycling platform, and GrossiWeb rebuilt its website from the ground up for an April 29, 2026 launch. In the first month after launch (Apr 30 to May 29, 2026), Google Search clicks went from 13 to 24 against the month before (Mar 30 to Apr 28, 2026). Those are small numbers from a short window, and this page says what they do and do not show.

The challenge

The previous Recycling Quotes website no longer matched the size or the needs of the business. The design felt dated, the pages loaded more slowly than they should, and the structure did not organize recycling materials, business services, industries and educational content in a way that helped search engines or visitors.

The old homepage put materials, articles, videos, subscription fields and contact options on one long page with little hierarchy. A visitor could find a recycling category. The page did not explain how the business works, show its impact, or point different kinds of organizations toward the right service.

So the brief was wider than a new look. The site had to be faster, say clearly what Recycling Quotes offers, give search engines a stronger structure to read, and give a visitor a clearer path from a question to a quote request.

What we built

The new site has a cleaner visual system and a stronger content hierarchy. It also connects recycling materials, business services, industries, proof points, resources and calls to action to each other, instead of leaving them on one page. The rebuilt homepage now does six jobs.

What the rebuilt homepage does

  1. Say what the company does

The page opens with an immediate explanation of the company's value and a direct path to request a quote.

  2. Show the scale

Impact metrics communicate scale, material recovery, business participation and landfill diversion.

  3. Organize the materials

A structured material directory covers electronics, metal, paper, plastic, textiles, batteries, construction materials and other recycling needs.

  4. Route each type of organization

Dedicated business-service and industry sections explain how Recycling Quotes supports different organizations.

  5. Explain the process

A simple three-step process shows how quote requests, recycling coordination and certification work.

  6. Build trust and offer next steps

Trust signals, a business-challenges section and updated educational resources sit alongside clearer calls to action, instead of relying on a single contact path.

The project ran through an AI-assisted production workflow, with human review guiding the final structure, messaging, visual decisions and launch quality, and the project team responsible for accuracy, usability and approval.

The results

The comparison sets the month before launch (Mar 30 to Apr 28, 2026) against the first month after it (Apr 30 to May 29, 2026). Launch day sits in neither window, and both windows have the same number of days. Reach moved first. The rebuilt site gives materials, services, industries, resources and locations their own pages, and in its first month Search Console impressions rose 150%. Clicks rose 85%, more slowly than impressions, so the wider footprint is only starting to turn into visits.

The people who arrived from search also stayed longer. GA4 counted 59 organic sessions after launch against 22 before, and the share it counts as engaged stayed about the same (16 of 22 before, 42 of 59 after), so the growth did not come from visits that left at once. Average engagement time for an organic visit rose from 54 to 86 seconds. On a site built to steer a business toward the right recycling service, that is a more useful early sign than total traffic, which the note below sets aside.

On the technical side, the PageSpeed Insights desktop performance score moved from 90 before the rebuild to 97 after it. Mobile is a different story, and it comes up again under what comes next. The table puts every before and after figure in one place, with its period.

Before: Mar 30 to Apr 28, 2026. After: Apr 30 to May 29, 2026. The desktop performance score compares before and after the rebuild. Contact-path views are an intent indicator, not confirmed leads, and the before figure counts the former Contact page only.

The new structure is being used beyond the homepage. In the first month after launch, GA4 recorded activity on 148 strategic pages, including materials, services, industries, resources and locations, with 380 views and 1,084 tracked events between them. There is no before figure for these pages, so this shows how visitors spread across the new structure, not an improvement over the old one.

On the conversion path, contact-path views rose from 16 on the former Contact page (Mar 30 to Apr 28, 2026) to 41 across the new Contact and Get a Quote pages (Apr 30 to May 29, 2026). Treat that as an intent indicator. A view is not a lead, and the two periods count different pages.

The figure a business owner cares about most sits in the website's own lead database. From Apr 30 to Sep 9, 2026, it holds 34 quote requests and contact form submissions, after six internal test submissions were taken out. Nobody has yet classified them as qualified or closed, so we report them as submissions and nothing more. That is the number to grow, and the one to measure properly next.

What comes next

The first month points to a clear next phase. The expanded search footprint needs better page titles, tighter content relevance and stronger rankings, so that more of the new impressions become clicks. That is SEO work on top of the new structure, which now gives materials, services, industries, resources and locations their own sections to build on.

Mobile loading is the clearest technical opportunity, and the post-launch audit found issues with redirecting URLs, canonical URLs that resolve through redirects, and 4XX responses. Those become the baseline for the next technical cleanup, which sits within web development.

Tracking comes next as well. GA4 did not record generate_lead, form_submit or form_start events, so submissions can only be verified from the website database today. Reliable lead tracking, a review of the Direct traffic spike and a client check on which submissions became real opportunities would turn these early numbers into something more decision-ready. Analytics and reporting covers that kind of setup.
